Anshika Verma, originally from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, completed her primary education in Noida and earned a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Galgotia College, Noida, in 2018. After graduating, she began preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination in 2019, dedicating herself to self-study in Prayagraj without any formal coaching.

Her hard work paid off when she passed the UPSC CSE on her second attempt in 2020, achieving an impressive All India Rank (AIR) of 136. Anshika attributes much of her success to her supportive family, including her father, a retired employee of Uttar Pradesh Electricity Corporation Limited (UPEL), and her homemaker mother.
