AAP Unveils 'Middle Class' Manifesto; Kejriwal Calls for GST Exemption on Essentials and Education Subsidies

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has unveiled its middle-class manifesto, presenting seven key demands to the Central government. These demands focus on critical areas like education, healthcare, tax relief, and pension reforms, aiming to ease the challenges faced by the middle-class population.

AAP National Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal emphasized the middle class's pivotal role, calling them the country's "real superpower." He urged the Central government to prioritize their concerns in the upcoming budget.

The manifesto outlines the following seven demands:

  • Healthcare: Enhanced healthcare facilities to ensure quality medical care for all.
  • Tax Relief: Reduced tax burdens to ease financial pressures on the middle class.
