Cocos Jacó Beachfront sits about ten meters from the sea, inside Hotel Paradise Jacó, and its menu is built around seafood: guests single out the shrimp pasta in béchamel sauce —"the best I have ever had"— and giant, well-made patacones, the whole fish, the ceviche and a nicely presented breakfast with fair portions. The menu also adds bowls, tacos, burgers, grilled steaks (New York and Rib Eye), pasta and the Cocos Bowl, served in a natural coconut; the menu says tax is included, and that the 10% service charge is not.
The place is spacious and open, right on the sea, and fills up on live-music nights: one guest says that on such a night service turned chaotic and they had to remind the staff of their order. It is open every day from 7:30 AM to 10:00 PM; one visitor who arrived at 9:15 PM was not served, so it is best to arrive with time to spare. Prices are considered in line with the area and value for money is what comes up most. It is in Jacó, and you can book by WhatsApp.
