Perico Azul is a small, family-run hotel built around a central courtyard with a pool, palms and sun loungers, on Calle Santana about 600 meters from Jacó beach. The rooms are a good size, with air conditioning, a private bathroom, a coffee maker with complimentary coffee and a mini fridge, and guests also get a roomy, well-equipped kitchen, a lounge and a dining area that feel like home. One couple meant to stay a couple of nights and ended up staying six days, and the owners, Cécile and Mike, are on hand to answer questions and suggest activities; another visitor says Manrique pointed them to surf lessons with his friends and they were the best instructors.
It is not flawless: one guest found the rooms worn for the price, another thought the rate high compared with hotels that include breakfast (it is not included here), and anyone arriving before check-in can only leave bags, with no access to the pool or common areas. Still, restaurants and shops are relatively close and the place works well for solo travelers, couples or friends. It is in Jacó, and the front desk is open daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Nightly rates for 2 adults checked on Booking.com on Oct 20, 2026 (rates change with date and availability); breakfast is not included. There was no availability on Dec 26, 2026. Free private parking and free Wi-Fi for guests.
