Mamás Beachside Coffee sits inside LÍA Hotel, right on Jacó beach, and those who take a seat on its terrace agree on one thing: it has the best sea view to go with a coffee. Some can't start the day without their dirty chai, and another person calls it flatly the best coffee in town. The menu is short and café-style: espresso, cortado, cappuccino, latte and mocha, iced drinks such as the Beach Boost (protein, espresso, banana and peanut butter), teas, juices, smoothies and breakfasts like avocado toast, banana pancakes or the Costa Rican morning with gallo pinto.
The mood is relaxed, the service has a reputation for being excellent, and it works well as an office by the sea. Coffees start at ₡1,700 with taxes and breakfasts run from ₡6,700 to ₡10,050. It is at the end of the street, 100 meters west of Isaga, in Jacó.
