Vivace is modern Italian cooking with Sicilian roots, led by chef Luigi Tumminello: a long menu of pastas, ravioli, risotto and gnocchi, wood-fired pizzas, fish and meat. The pastas include black spaghetti with squid ink and shrimp, rigatoni alla Norma, puttanesca and tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms; the cheese ravioli with truffle and porcini cream is the priciest of its section. The pizzas run from the Margherita to the Reale, with burrata, prosciutto crudo and truffle-flavored balsamic cream, and to finish there are tiramisù, pistachio parfait with hot chocolate and Sicilian cannoli. People who stop by keep praising the chef and the service.
