The Fuga Sandwich is the one that comes up most, with more than one regular calling it a favorite, along with the ham-and-cheese miga sandwich, the pinto (among the best in the area) and the açaí bowl, which gets its own praise. The coffee, the bakery, the smoothies and the sweets all hold up too, and it works for breakfast as well as a brunch-style lunch.

This is the post-surf café for Playa Hermosa: it's run by its owners, the decor is thoughtful and full of art, with good music, air conditioning and plenty of greenery, and it feels like a friend's house. It sits on Calle Hermosa, 25 meters south of Boulevard El Bosque, opens at 7:00 am and closes at 4:00 pm, and the prices are described as very good.
