A 30-year-old woman from Mumbai, Priyanka Shivkumar Siddu, has been arrested by Telangana Police’s cybercrime division in connection with an international job scam. Allegedly acting as a recruitment agent, Siddu is accused of trafficking job seekers to Cambodia, where they were reportedly forced to participate in cybercrime activities under harsh conditions, according to the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB).

Authorities claim that after leaving a now-closed job processing agency, Siddu established her own unlicensed agency, deceiving individuals with false promises of legitimate employment visas. Her scheme is said to involve another agent, Narayana, who had links with Jithender Shah, also known as Amer Khan, the director of a Chinese-owned firm in Cambodia.

Siddu allegedly traveled to Cambodia to explore job prospects and was offered a commission of approximately ₹42,000 for each candidate she recruited. Upon her return to India, she facilitated visas for her nephew, Akshay Vaidhya, and his friend, Danish Khan, who became her first victims, according to police reports.

The Telangana Cyber Crime Police have charged Siddu with multiple offenses, including human trafficking and cybercrime. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to uncover the full extent of her criminal network and the harm caused to her victims.
