There are two things in one here: the bike workshop and shop, and BacPark. People who brought their bikes in say they are treated well, there is parking and the staff are willing to help any cyclist; the caveat is that they stock few road-bike parts. For anyone who wants to ride, the shop also rents mountain bikes and beach cruisers and runs guided MTB tours to lookouts and waterfalls near Playa Hermosa.
The part that earns the most praise is the action-sports park: it is described as the best skatepark in Costa Rica, with great ramps, and one parent says the pro riders helped their son learn tricks. You can go to ride or simply to watch the bikers, and Olympic athlete Kenneth Tencio trains there. The shop is next to the Delta gas station in Jacó; park entry is ₡6,000 for a 2-hour session, ₡10,000 for a full day and ₡50,000 for a week.
All tours leave directly from the shop in Jacó. The website does not publish prices: ask the shop.
