DoceLunas is enjoyed above all for its large free-form pool, tiled with mosaics and ringed by jungle, and for how easy it is to stay all day: guests who came on a day pass describe fresh, well-presented food and drinks and friendly staff. The rooms are described as spacious and carefully detailed, with good beds, pillows and upkeep. Two things worth knowing: a group of nine said the day pass felt expensive (₡5,000 per person for about two and a half hours at the pool), and one guest says that almost every day around 9 am a leaf blower starts up and cost them their sleep.
The hotel sits 400 meters east of the Costanera in Quebrada Seca, away from the commercial area of Jacó but under five minutes by car from the beach, with more than two hectares of garden and jungle where birds can be seen. Parking is free, and one guest rates value for money as good.
Rooms as listed on the property's information and booking site, which is unofficial: the hotel does not publish rates in an available official source, so ask the hotel directly. Pets are allowed on request, with possible extra charges. Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and free private parking.
