LÍA is an adults-only hotel with 65 rooms, all with balconies looking out to the ocean or the pool, set in the fully renovated former Copacabana Hotel right on the beach. The pool, framed by palm trees and cabanas, is the heart of the place: the loungers are comfortable, there is service at the pool, music and a lively atmosphere, and you can stay until well into the night. Besos Beach House is the main restaurant and bar, serving Mediterranean cooking made from scratch and signature cocktails; the food and the drinks get good words, though prices run high —one visitor thought $15 for a glass of wine was steep— and Mamás Beachside Coffee pours coffee and pastries from 7:00 AM.
Service is the uneven part. One guest who came in the low season was welcomed before check-in time and treated "like royalty," and a regular calls it excellent; another, who stayed a single night, was unhappy with the front desk and the bar, and with the breakfast kitchen running out of rice for the gallo pinto. The rooms are lovely but compact (the smallest are 16 m²) and one visitor notes there is no parking. It sits at the end of the street facing the sea, 100 meters west of Restaurante Isaga, in Jacó; guests not registered at check-in pay a $50 fee for up to 24 hours.
Adults-only hotel. Nightly rate for 2 adults, taxes not included, taken from the official booking engine for Oct 24, 2026; it varies with date and availability (on Dec 26, 2026 the same rooms run from $247.95 to $436.05 booking direct).
