Fresh fish is the baseline at Ohana; the real decision is which roll to order. The Big Kahuna stacks tempura shrimp, spicy mayo, avocado and tuna under unagi sauce, scallions and sesame seeds, and the ahi poke bowl holds up just as well. The ceviche roll and the Scandinavian also come up, and the miso soup and seaweed salad are worth ordering first.
The room is calm and warm, and service is friendly and quick even when the place is full. It sits one block off the main road in Jacó, so it is easy to walk right past: look for it on purpose.
