Marriott Vacation Club at Los Sueños is an oceanfront villa resort inside the Los Sueños Resort & Marina community in Herradura. The property is new (it opened in 2020), well designed, and the rooms, for up to four guests, are spacious, elegant and very clean; there is no full kitchen, but there is a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge, and the balcony looks out to the sea, with sunsets several guests remember. Repeat guests describe a safe place with attentive staff, ideal for families, with pools, common areas and activities for kids and adults.

Not everything wins equal praise: one visitor found the pool area and the beach area within the resort underwhelming, and made up for it with the many activities nearby in Jacó and around. It sits 800 meters west of the entrance to Herradura, with free on-site parking. The rates checked for a single night start at US$239 with the resort fee included.

Check-in 4:00 PM and check-out 10:00 AM; free on-site parking (valet US$6 a day); pets are not allowed. The resort also has 2-bedroom villas, which had no rate on the dates checked.
