The course is what people talk about most at La Iguana: golfers call it one of the prettiest in Costa Rica, with a spectacular layout that is very playable yet still competitive; one player takes a star off for the condition of the greens. The academy stands out too: the instructors are excellent and especially patient with kids.
Tee off early: the humidity and heat in the area are intense and the back nine has little shade, so protect yourself well. It sits inside Los Sueños, in Herradura, with tropical forest all around the course.
