Origen opened in October 2026 and its menu leans on the sea and the grill. To start there are the Camarones Piedra, the Ceviche Diablo, crispy calamari and a seafood carpaccio duo; for mains, whole lobster with Cajun butter, grilled octopus, the Corvina del Pescador, seafood pasta al vongole and cuts like the rib eye with smoked chimichurri. If seafood isn't the plan, there's Pollo Caprese, tacos, pizza and a Typical Bowl.
It sits in Plaza Jacó, on Avenida Pastor Díaz in the north of Jacó, with an open-air dining room. It opens every day from 11 am to 10 pm, and from 4 to 7 pm cocktails and liquors are two-for-one: the list includes Moscow Mule, Mai Tai, Painkiller and house creations like the Jacó Spicy Sunset and the Origen Dragón. It's a new place with no reviews yet, so book on WhatsApp or OpenTable on weekends.
