Paradise Bay is a 19-room boutique hotel on Playa Herradura, a three-minute walk from the beach and about 15 minutes from Jacó, with a pool, a jacuzzi, a spa and a restaurant. Guests describe it as small but beautiful, clean and comfortable, with roomy, lovely rooms and a very quiet setting; breakfast is à la carte, not a buffet, and they call it delicious, and one guest says a three-week stay felt better than home. The front desk, restaurant, housekeeping and maintenance staff get praise (Michelle at reception is named), and so does the free transfer to another beach.
Not everything went smoothly: the pool is small and the jacuzzi water was not hot, one guest's air conditioning in room 4 did not work, and another left upset because, they say, the hotel did not follow its own policies or solve their problem. One visitor mentions that pets are accepted with clear rules, something worth confirming before you travel. It is in Herradura, across from the cemetery, and some rates include breakfast.
19 rooms. The rate shown is the public nightly rate for 2 adults, breakfast included and taxes excluded, taken from the official booking engine for Oct 24, 2026; it changes by date and availability (the hotel promises its best rate when booking direct and has a “secret” rate for registered users).
