What comes up again and again at Hartley Ranch is the meat: it arrives exactly at the doneness you ask for, and several tables mention exquisite cuts and impressive service. The cocktails and the sangria also get praise, and the place is described as beautiful, with a good balance of price and quality for some and as an expensive restaurant for others; one visitor found the lobster small, and another would have preferred the wine at room temperature rather than so cold. The menu centers on USDA Choice, Prime and Wagyu cuts (the 46 oz Tomahawk is the biggest), with two sides included, plus seafood, lobster and a wine list.
It is at Jaco Walk, on Avenida Pastor Díaz, in the middle of Jacó, and opens every day from 4:00 to 10:00 pm. Menu prices include taxes; cuts run from ₡19,900 for the smoked brisket to ₡188,000 for the Tomahawk, so it's worth booking and checking the menu before going.
