At Lemon Zest you order what chef Richard Lemon cooks: the seared tuna with teriyaki arrives with excellent-quality fish, and the tuna sushi does the job, though one guest would have liked more variety of rolls. Food is made to order, well presented, with flavors that more than one visitor finds spectacular —«the most delicious food in all of Jacó,» says one— and good value for the quality, though another admits the price is a bit high and still worth the experience. The menu also has gluten-free options and the house delivers at no charge.
One guest describes the room as dark, almost like a nightclub, with painted windows; it is on the second floor of El Jardín Plaza, above Amancio's Pizza, 50 meters south of Más x Menos, in Jacó. The floor staff gives good recommendations, but one party of 20 or 30 felt rushed and watched staff start packing things up around 9:10 PM while they were still eating; it pays to reserve and mention the size of your group. It opens from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with happy hour from 5 to 7 Monday through Saturday: cocktails and small plates for $6.
