The food is close to what you'd find in Israel, and the pita bread, hummus, salad and shawarma come up most, along with the kebab, the schnitzel and the hibiscus lemonade. For dessert, the coconut cigars are a different option. There are plenty of vegan choices, and portions and prices are described as reasonable.
It's a kosher restaurant inside Hotel Las Orquídeas, 150 meters east of Pops, in Jacó, the kind of place people drive to Jacó just to eat at. The owner is very friendly. Bring some patience: orders can take a while, even fresh drinks, and the air-conditioned indoor room is small. It closes at 3:30 pm on Fridays and stays closed on Saturdays for Shabbat.
