What comes up most is the sea view and the fish: the mahi mahi, the whole fish, the dorado fillet and the ceviche all land well at the table. The house margaritas have their fans —a 10/10— and to finish there is a brownie with ice cream right by the beach. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables, and when it started to rain the staff helped move everyone inside.
This is not a fast-service place: one lunch took almost 35 minutes —made up for with a house drink— and another table found the waitresses slow and the backless benches uncomfortable. One order came out wrong (chicken instead of fish) and was fixed right away, and a couple felt the burgers needed a bit more salt and pepper. It sits on Calle Bribrí, across from Hotel Jacó, in Jacó; it is open every day from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM and runs a 2x1 cocktail happy hour from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Menu prices do not include 13% tax or the 10% service charge.
