This is a Texas-style BBQ shack: smoked beef brisket, pork rib, pulled pork and chicken leg, with sides like potato salad, coleslaw, cowboy beans, baked potato and broccoli. The rib "falls off the bone by itself", everything comes out tender and full of flavor, and the portions are generous for the price. There are also stuffed baked potatoes and sandwiches, and smoked meat by the kilo for parties and events with three days' notice.
The look is simple —outdoor tables and somewhat neglected furniture, notes one table— but regulars insist you should not be fooled: good meat served with good humor, 100 meters from the beach in Playa Hermosa. Payment is cash or SINPE only. It is open Wednesday to Sunday, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and closed Monday and Tuesday.
