Organization is what comes up most at Maverick: the boats, captains and fishing all deliver, and the ground transportation and service staff are easy to deal with. One angler who fished two days on Tiger Fly calls them epic: the captain knew where the fish were, and the first mate, with many years aboard, is glad to teach techniques that make you a better fisherman. It was their fourth time with the same crew.
These are people who know sportfishing, and the staff are very friendly. The base is at Marina Los Sueños, in Herradura. Check the hours before stopping by the shop: one recent visit found it closed before five in the afternoon.
